First Encounter (Gay-Pat Stormy x Benlea

First Encounter (Gay-Pat Stormy x Benlea) Owned by Susan Hansen at Fairmont Farm(www.ecuriefairmount.com )where they showed him as a yearling, and he was Reserve Champion, Pennsylvania Horse Shows Association, as well as Reserve Champion, USEF, Zone II. They showed him only once as a two-year old, where he was Reserve at Devon in the open two year old colts and gelding class. As a three-year old, They took him to a hunter pace, where he came in second (he was the only pony).

Looking a lot like his sire

Meteor Hill Joint Effort (Gay-Pat Stormy X Naomi)

"Moose" was one of our first year crop of 1/2 Welsh. His birth was very difficult, taking 2 vets, my son and daughter and myself to all bring him into the world. He was also the first foal born at our barn that had almost the whole 4H club, including parents, watching. One parent even videoed the whole process so we have been able to use it as a 4H demonstration on "what can go wrong and still end up right:" Moose was sold to Cheryl Maye at Mayes Show Ponies as a two year old. They have done a wonderful job with him and as a 3 year old, with very limited showing, he was ranked 3rd in the nation, Adult 1/2 Welsh Pleasure Pony and he was the SE Regional Champion Adult 1/2 Welsh Pleasure Pony. We are very proud of him and hope that his full siblings will give him a run for his money in the near future.
