Westwood Caper Sec. A 1997(Clarwoods Cavalier X Ardmore Pride's Fancy)

Caper was our first Sec. A mare and has proven herself to be versatile as well as talented. She has had several foals and done limited showing. She is a cute mover, has the attitude we want for a child's pony, and adds nice old bloodlines to our breeding program.

TDF Dream Catcher 1998 Black/overo X arab

Dreamer is by Litenin Pac Man (PTHA #59738) and out of Asmara Bint Aseem (AHRA #426747)Standing 14.1, she is the perfect size to breed to get a medium or large pony. She is one of our most favorite mares having produced 3 outstanding foals. She is an awesome mover, with just enough arab to make her float. She is looking for a new home since we are not breeding at this time.

Woodland's Velvet Poppy (Woodland's Velvet Rain X Woodland's Poppycock)

Poppy is a great addition to our breeding program. She has the most outstanding athletic ability, conformation, temperament, and is just wonderful to watch in the field or in the ring. We use her for all of our 4-H demonstrations due to her excellent ground manners and steady disposition. Her first foal for us, Meteor Hill Monet, is picture perfect and we hope for many more just like him. UPDATE: Poppy had a beautiful black filly in 2005. Meteor Hill Summer Solstice is being backed at this time and has never even thought of bucking. She is ready to find a home where she can be finished and shown. UPDATE: Poppy has now found a new home in Mathews County, VA.

Naomi came to us due to an injury that ended her show carrier. She has proven herself to be a producer of top pleasure ponies. Her first foal, Meteor Hill Joint Effort, was rated 3rd in the Nation, Adult 1/2 Welsh Pleasure Pony in 2004 as a YOUNG 3 yr. old. Her consistency in producing quality show ponies makes her a wonderful asset to our breeding program. UPDATE: Naomi has returned to her owner in 2007

Cactus (American Mustang)

Cactus came to us with very little socialization. But with her outstanding attitude, flashy movement, and wonderful bone, she was worth taking a chance on breeding, and we are glad we did. She has produced two awesome foals, both have her desire to please, movement and temperament. (Meteor Hill Tequila and Meteor Hill Margarita) Cactus loves attention and has been very easy to train. She is very receptive to aids and on trails she is the bravest pony I have ever seen. UPDATE: After completing the 2007 4-H 50 Mile Trail ride, Cactus joined her two fillies, Margarurita and Taquila, at their new home with Richard and Janette Selsby.

Star Appeal....Apples

Apples has shown herself to be more suitable as a jumper than a hunter pony. She is a lovely mover and loves to jump. Though we have never bred her, she has earned her keep by being a 4-H project pony.
